Quest for Mc D

So yesterday night, we’re partying; me, Akshay, Naveelah, Yakita and Pranay. Before the party and after the office, I and Yakita decided to go to Mcdonalds as Yakita really wanted to have burgers and perry perry fries at Mc D. Yakita looked for the nearest Mc D and we booked uber pool and were ready to go. I was happy as it was Saturday and I did not want to reach home early and do nothing. We were waiting for the cab to arrive outside our office at the large stairway. Earlier in the day, Yakita had told me that her boyfriend completed his graduation from my graduation college i.e. Maharaja Agrasen College, while we were waiting for the cab, I got reminded of it and I asked her to show his picture if I had known him or seen him in college. I saw his picture but I could not recall him and reconnect him from the college. Then I started looking up his profile on facebook and yakita laughed it off as I was stalking her boyfriend on fb in front of her. Then our cab arrived, we headed off.

We reached Quest Mall, we thought maybe Mc D would be inside mall. We went inside but our eyes were eagerly looking for just Mac D. Turns out. Mc D was never there inside the mall and the one it was showing nearby on google was shut permanently. How on earth we would have known about it? They never updated its closure on google. We were very disappointed. This was happening to us second time. A day before, we had gone out with Naveelah as well all the way to Maney square just to eat at Mc D, and when we three reached, we saw Mc D closed. We were disappointed and hungry. That day we compromised with our urge for Mc D, we ordered from Pizaa Hut and KFC instead and then we came back home. But this time, we did not want it to be the same old story one more time. Yakita was really sad. I was sad too because we both had put so much efforts to come all the way just to eat at Mc D. I was wanting to do something about it and did not know exactly what. In my head I was thinking of telling Yakita,’Let’s go to another Mc D, it can’t be the case that all the Mc Ds in the city are closed’. But at the same time, I was not sure if Yakita was up for it so I did not ask her that. But just after, she herself asked if we can try one last time. I immediately told her, yes of course. Let’s do it! Now we had to go to 3 kms far to another nearest Mc D which was at Bhawanipur. Yakita booked the uber and we were waiting for it. Back at the hotel, Akshay and Naveelah had already got everything ready for the Saturday night party I had mentioned at the start and they were waiting for us to arrive.

After waiting for 15-20 mins outside quest mall our cab arrived and we were praying to god in the cab that this time we get to eat at Mc D. To our bad luck again, Uber bhaiya told us that we had booked the cab to some hospital which was around 1.5 kms away from Mc D we wanted to go. Yakita booked for Mc D only, there was some problem with Uber pool and how that system works. But somehow Uber Bhaiya knew where Bhawanipur Mc D was and we requested him that we’d give him extra 50 bucks to drop us at Mc D which he agreed to. And finally, we were at Mc D. That too, open! What happened after that? It’s a everyone’s Mc D story. 😊
